TAKING MEANINGFUL ACTION TOWARDS PROGRES
We take meaningful positions in the companies we partner with and work with them to embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion.
We ask all our partners to stand with us and acknowledge and sign a pledge in fostering a culture of corporate responsibility, diversity and inclusion, at all levels of leadership.
We actively assist our partners with business development, talent recruitment, board and advisory board recruitment, DEI strategies and initiatives.
We bring representation of an ever more diverse group of investors and check-writers within the cap table of our partner companies.
We strive to partner with companies that are consciously working to create a diverse leadership team—one that’s inclusive across gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, disabilities and national origins. While we would never impose hiring decisions, we aim to reduce the potential impact of unconscious bias for key C-Level and senior roles within a company. We therefore ask that our partners include an “inclusion rule” in its HR policies so that at least one woman and/or member of a population currently underrepresented within the company shall be formally interviewed for any open executive position. Our partners also must adopt non-discrimination policies that includes LGBTQIA+ non-discrimination language.
